  1. We visited Parc de Albufera, last week on a rainy day, knowing that the rain doesn’t stop the birds and we saw over 50 species including x3 stone curlews, avocet, black tailed godwits, black winged stilts, Cetti’s warbler, chiffchaff, greenshank, Kentish plover, Marsh harrier, Marsh sandpiper, night heron, the famous purple gallinule, lots of red created pochard, and lots of other smaller birds, and water foul.
So it’s well worth a visit, what ever the weather.
    Made my holiday 😊

  2. Good views of the Balearic Warbler makes singing at the end of the Val de Boque, out of the wind, just as you head down to the beach. Also collared pratincole on the Albefera marshes this morning. Plenty of migrants all coming through now.
